Calling all parents interested in home ed!

For anyone interested in home education or supporting their children in a different way of learning Marisa Formicola has very kindly offered to host a number of on-line calls.

Renaturing ourselves and our children

Marisa Formicola, from Renaturing, has taught all our children ever since we pulled them out of school over eight years ago. She has worked in every type of school imaginable bringing a vast wealth of knowledge experience in education. Now she focuses on supporting the home educating community with overnight camps, family gatherings and her weekly home ed sessions which run from White House Farm, Glemham, in rural Suffolk.

On-line sessions

We’re so lucky that she’s offered these on-line sessions to parents as it opens up what she’s doing to a much wider audience.

Ka Zia and I can’t recommend her highly enough 🥰

This is what she has to say about her upcoming sessions:

Hello!

I wanted to let you know about a new offering for home-educating families, which is focused on supporting the parents’ journey!

I would love to bring some new perspectives as well as practical understandings to help with the task and challenges of your admirable choice.

This will be a space to explore not just content and curriculum, but the ‘how’ and ‘for the sake of what?’ of your home-education approach. My aim is to help cultivate confidence and clarity in your path ahead and insight for the difficulties. The course will be responsive to the individual needs of the participants, so we can expand on and delve into areas that are more relevant to you as we go along.

I will bring all of my skills in mainstream, Steiner, primary, secondary, Integral Development coaching, Child development and anything else that might serve! J And I can share my observations of common difficulties for home-educators which I’ve observed over the last 8 years of working in this field and some possible ways forward.

If you’d like to find out more, you’re welcome to join a free introductory session next Wednesday evening, 28th September, 7.45pm. More details for subsequent sessions below.

I look forward to being in vibrant conversation with you J

Warm wishes,

Marisa
