Celestia and Celestial
My husband called me on the way to drop our son at the station to ask if I could guess the name of Ed Sheeran’s latest song. Of course I had no idea. When he told me I had to laugh out loud. He had misheard it and thought it was Celestia – the name of my debut novel. My son and I searched for it and found out in fact it was called Celestial but close enough, don’t you think?
Are there any coincidences?
Well, we both live in Suffolk. I’ve been to Framlingham many times. His art teacher taught our children art. He wants to buy the house next door to my brother’s house. We’ve both got reddish hair. We love our families and we’ve both written something with the word Celestia in – he just added an ‘L’ at the end. What more can I say?
Ed’s kindness shines through
I had no idea Ed would be so kind to write the song without even being asked. However, his words sum up my book perfectly:
You make me feel
Like my troubled heart is a million miles away
You make me feel
Like I’m drunk on stars and we’re dancing out in the space
Celestial
This reminds me of Orion and Mary when they begin falling in love. It’s bitter sweet for Orion as he knows he has to leave his planet forever if he wants to remain with a human.
You see the light shinin’ through the rain
A thousand colors in the brighter shade
Needed to rise from the lowest place
There’s a silver lining that surrounds the gray
His time on Earth is troubled though since humans live in an altered state of lowered vibrations. Their lives mundane and monotonous with TV, phones and nightclubs to get them through the working week. Will he be able to help raise Earth’s vibrations to ensure Celestians and humans can live harmoniously in the galaxy?
A planet with no greed
Can we do our bit to create a planet like Celestia where there is no greed. A race of beings just like our ancient cultures used to be with knowledge passed down from generation to generation. If you have any desire to see our planet return to how it used to be then grab a your copy and see if we can get Ed to find out what a generous gift he’s done by writing the sound track to my book before it’s even been given film rights.
Another big-up for Ed.
Thanks Ed for your generosity and kind spirit.
This is everything that Joinavision is about – creating a kinder, brighter world.
A great picture of Ed. His kind spirit shining through.
Disclaimer: For anyone who has taken this too seriously – no I don’t believe Ed wrote this song for my movie. It would be a lovely thought though!
