As many of you know we have been building our website for nearly two years now. This has not been easy since neither of us had much experience in this area. In fact I was incredibly resistant to building our own website but Kazia reassured me we could build our own website much better than anyone else. Thankfully she was right!
This continues to be a work in progress but the most positive thing is we are now able to see how many people are coming to our website every week.

Our business directory is proving one of our most popular pages which is so great to see. This means people are valuing what we are doing and trust the ethos that we are creating here. One of our visions was that people could connect with like minded business/people wherever they are in the UK and hopefully the world. We are planning to ask for a small contribution to these listings but for the time being this remains an entirely free service.

Leyandra Van Sertima Talks to Joinavision
We had a lovely time chatting to Leyandra about her Warrior Workshops and how she is guiding people to step into their own power. She was born and raised in Guyana, South America, mainly by her grandparents until her parents brought her to England to live. It was incredibly traumatic being taken from a place where she was so loved and known by the community to a place where the word ‘community’ was pretty much absent.
Her journey has been far from easy and she’s come up against every challenge you can imagine. She is proof that whatever your background humans are incredibly resilient and once you follow the right path everything flows much easier. Sadly, her mother sadly died last year at the age of 49 and her father ten years before her. It has been a very difficult year but Leyandra’s positivity shines through.
