Grows in hedge banks, roadsides, edge of fields, water ground.
Leaves pale green, stem square (stinging nettle round), Perennial.
Parts used :
Flowers( tasty!) and leaves(young) in salad, young or older steam/cooked.
Pick stem just below the top part of leaves for a tea fresh or dried.
Poultice of leaf for splinter, bruises, burns, cuts, bites.
Sprig( leaf/flower) as a tea for,
Uterine tonic, painful periods, reduce excess heavy menstrual flow, cystitis, IBS.
Support respiratory issues of phlegm and catarrah.
Douche of cooled tea for vaginal discharge.
