( glechoma hederacea)
Habitat : Damp areas, part shade Woodlands, hedgerows, open grasslands.
Parts used : above ground, flowers and leaves, stem.
Food : very young shoots in salad, leaves and stem eat steamed in stews, soups, great for flavoring food, all above ground parts for tea and to flavour beer.
Medicine: Tea for clearing the head, cattarh and phlegm, congestion, diuretic, affinity for kidneys, potentially pull out heavy metals on the body.
A compress for sore eyes, headaches.
Can be used for tinnitus and sinusitis.
