Sampire

We recently went to cool off in the river and we were lucky enough to come across Samphire!

Another winner with my 4 year old, I am guessing the distinctive crisp salty taste had something to do with his new found love. However I am not complaining, it’s packed full of nutrients and another thing widely available to all.

Benefits include:

Vitamin A, C, B2 and D.

Iodine

Iron

Calcium

Magnesium

Silica

Zinc

Boosts immunity

Reduces inflammation

Rich in fiber and amino acids.

It increases Beneficial Bacteria In The Gut

It’s gluten free and not a common food allergen, however as always it’s your responsibility to make an informed decision on this.

Happy foraging ?
